Echometer Compact Gas Gun

Compact gas gun with a rugged, noise-canceling dual-disk microphone. Consists of a 10 cubic-inch volume chamber and a quick-opening gas valve. The chamber is typically filled with CO2 or nitrogen to a pressure above well pressure; opening the valve generates a pressure pulse that travels through the wellbore gas. Can also run in implosion mode (using well pressure itself, no external gas source needed), though that allows well debris into the chamber and increases maintenance and O-ring replacement needs.
